§ 10-3. Consumption on premises; hours of sale.

  • No person, vendor or distributor in any place of business, except those determined by the city council to comply with the requirements for an extended hours license pursuant to section 10-6, shall sell, offer for sale, deliver, or permit to be consumed upon the premises of the person, vendor or distributor in such place of business, any alcoholic beverage, including but not limited to liquor, beer, or wine, regardless of the alcoholic content, on any day of the week between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., or on Sunday between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The ability to sell, offer for sale, deliver, or permit to be consumed upon the premises any alcoholic beverage beyond the hour of 1:00 a.m. on any day of the week, including Sunday, is hereby declared to be and is a privilege subject to termination by the city council, and no person may reasonably rely on a continuation of that privilege.
