§ 14-67. Restrictions on riding or leading.

  • No person shall ride or lead an animal, as defined in this article:

    (1)

    On any sidewalk;

    (2)

    Through any service station;

    (3)

    Through any shopping center;

    (4)

    Upon private property without the prior consent or authorization of the property owner;

    (5)

    On or along a street or roadway other than on the left side of the street or roadway facing approaching traffic, except where bridle paths are provided;

    (6)

    In other than single file, except on designated bridle paths;

    (7)

    Between sunset and sunrise unless the animal, and the person riding or leading it, each bears a reflector of such size and characteristics and so maintained as to be readily visible at nighttime from all distances within 500 feet to 50 feet from the animal when in front of lawful upper beams of motor vehicle headlamps.
