§ 18-38. Issuance of license; term of license; records.
Latest version.
If, after an investigation by the police department and approval of the application
by the zoning and code compliance department of the city, the city council shall be
reasonably satisfied that the applicant has a good reputation and that the statements
set forth in the application are correct, and if the proper fee shall have been paid,
the city shall issue to the applicant a license for a parking lot or garage. Such
license shall continue in full force and effect for a period of one year from the
date of issuance of the license, or until revoked by the city council. The city clerk
shall keep a record of all applications and licenses issued under this article, indexed
alphabetically and by location.
