§ 18-54. Notification of claims for damage or loss.

Every licensee shall immediately notify the police department of every claim made by reason of loss, theft, or conversion, or any damage or injury to person or property, from the operation of a parking lot or garage, and occurring during the hours such premises are regularly open for business. The obligation created by this section shall not extend beyond the regular posted hours of attendance as posted upon the premises and printed upon the regular receipt furnished to the owner or person parking such vehicle.
