§ 1-16. General penalty.

Unless otherwise specifically provided in this Code, any person violating any of the provisions of the Code shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $500.00 or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed 60 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court.
