§ 2-31. Requirements for holding elective office.

Under the power granted by F.S. § 166.021, the city council hereby declares that a necessary requisite for the holding of an elective office of the city shall be faithful devotion to the duties inherent in the office. These duties include, but are not limited to, faithful attendance at all meetings, regular and special, of the city council by the members of the council, the mayor, and the city clerk.
