§ 30-31. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Weeds means and includes all rank vegetable growth (all grasses, weeds, brush, vines and undergrowth) which emit obnoxious or unpleasant odors or which might be a source of disease of physical distress to human beings, and such term shall also be deemed to include all high and rank vegetable growth that may conceal pools of water, trash, filth or any other deposits which may be detrimental to health if, in the opinion of the building official or code compliance officer, or authorized agent, such condition endangers the health, safety or welfare of any member of the community.
