§ 40-291. Suspension of Benefits.

(a)

The payment of pension benefits shall be suspended for each month a Participant works as a police officer, consultant or independent contractor of the Police Department of the City of Hialeah Gardens or if disability benefit recipient resumes employment as a police officer.

(b)

The Board of Trustees may uniformly waive the provisions of this Section for such periods of time as it deems appropriate.
