§ 46-61. Alcoholic beverages license.

  • Any new application, location or owner transfer for alcoholic beverage license will not be issued without city council approval additionally:

    (1)

    The applicant will file an application for State of Florida Department of Alcohol and Tobacco and with the chief zoning and code compliance official for zoning review and approval.

    (2)

    The applicant shall not appear before city council, unless all applicable required information (according to chapter 10), review and approvals is provided with the application.

    (3)

    Any restrictions with the approval of the alcohol beverage license by the city council, shall be part of the application to the state.

    (4)

    It shall be illegal for a restaurant or cafeteria to sell alcoholic beverages without the serving of a full-course meal. The chief zoning and code compliance official will issue a "cease and desist" order.
