§ 54-5. Penalty for violation of chapter.

(a)

Any person or business association failing to comply with the regulatory requirements or prohibitions of this chapter shall be penalized in the sum of $100.00 per day for every day of failure to comply with this chapter, except as provided in subsection (b) of this section.

(b)

Any individual or entity who allows the conditions prohibited by section 54-72 to exist, be permitted or maintained, shall be fined in an amount not to exceed $500.00 per day for each day during which such condition exists.
