§ 54-51. Required.

The owner of each lot or parcel of land within the city on which any building or other improvement is now located or situated, or shall hereafter be located or situated, to be used or intended for human habitation or occupancy for residential, commercial, industrial, or other use and which lies within 250 feet from any water main located in the city shall be required to connect or cause to be connected the building or improvement with the water main in such a manner as to meet the requirements of the South Florida Building Code and the Dade County Public Works Manual. The connection shall be made and done within 30 days of the completion of the water main or on completion of the construction or erection of the building or improvement.
