§ 74-1. Minimum standards adopted.

(a)

The provisions of chapter 17, article I, sections 17-1 through 17-40, inclusive, entitled Metropolitan Dade County Minimum Housing Standards, of the Dade County Code, are hereby enacted by reference as the minimum housing standards required throughout the city.

(b)

The document marked, designated, and known as the South Florida Building Code, which is made a part of this Code by reference, is adopted as a minimum standard for the purposes expressed therein and shall be known as the Building Code of Hialeah Gardens. Such document shall be fully effective to the same extent as if every word, phrase, sentence, or section of the South Florida Building Code were fully incorporated in this section, except as modified or added to in this chapter.
