§ 2-302. Officers; duties of secretary; support services.

  • (a)

    The board shall initiate its organization by electing one of its members to serve as the chairperson for the period to be designated by the board and the board may appoint other subordinates as it deems necessary.

    (b)

    The city clerk or designee shall act as the secretary of the personnel review board, attending all meetings of said board, maintaining a written record of the minutes of meetings of said board and performing such other duties in connection with the administration of this division as may be required by the board. He/she shall not be considered a member of the board or entitled to vote.

    (c)

    All consultation or support services furnished to the board must be requested and approved by the city council or their designated authority.
