§ 46-51. Rules and regulations as to enforcement of article.

  • (a)

    The chief zoning and code compliance official may make such rules and regulations, not inconsistent with this article, as may be necessary or proper for the enforcement of these provisions hereof.

    (b)

    Duties and responsibilities of the chief zoning and code compliance official as designated authority, charged with the administration and enforcement of the local business tax receipt and this Code, shall include, but not to be limited to:

    (1)

    Reviews all local business tax receipt applications to assure that the license requirements of this article have been satisfied.

    (2)

    Advise the applicant that additional federal, state, county or city may be required, and if specific federal or state permit requirements are known, require that copies of such permits be provided and maintained on file with the local business tax receipt application.

    (3)

    Where interpretation is needed as to location of boundaries of the areas of special exception use, where there appears to be conflict between comprehensive plan boundary and actual field conditions the chief zoning and code compliance official shall make the necessary interpretation.

    (4)

    All records pertaining to the provisions of this article shall be maintained in the office of the city clerk and shall open for public inspection.
